Purchased three different roller shades. Process was easy enough, however, I still needed a little help. Customer service very responsive and helpful! Good prices, too. Highly recommend!
We finally received our Yoolax blinds after several challenges with cross-border shipping from China to Mexico. I don't blame Yoolax for these delays, as international shipping can be complex. When the blinds arrived, everything was complete, neatly packaged, and conveniently preprogrammed. Communication with Vicky at Yoolax was excellent—she responded quickly and clearly to all our inquiries.
However, installation was quite difficult. Our blinds were large, floor-to-ceiling day-night models intended for sliding glass doors and windows. Despite hiring two contractors for assistance, we struggled significantly to securely attach the blinds to the ceiling. The drywall plugs provided were completely inadequate to support the weight of the blinds; they ripped out of the ceiling, and we had to purchase stronger replacements. Several times, we believed the snap clasps were engaged properly, only for the blinds to fall when activating the motor, causing damage to both the blinds and our ceiling.
Once installed, the one blind we managed to hang, so far, looks fantastic and operates perfectly, with the remote working immediately. The remaining blinds will need to wait until our ceiling repairs are complete.
Additionally, a few design improvements would be helpful: the cable between the solar panel and the blind could benefit from being adjustable, longer, or detachable from the solar panel. It would also be great if multiple blinds could be connected in series, allowing a single solar panel to charge multiple blinds.
Overall, we're pleased with the appearance and functionality of the blinds, despite the installation and shipping hurdles.
Very good quality…. Directions were a little difficult to follow but I figured them out and created my own..
I mistakenly ordered the wrong size. They were very accommodating in getting me a new blind sent right away for a small fee. I was worried I'd have to pay full price for a new one since it was my mistake. Not the case. Overall a great company to do business with.
